Meet Badmaa.
My name is Badmaa Buyan Landeros. I am a lash and brow artist with more than nine years behind the chair, a mother, a wife, and an official LashCon ambassador.
I started Beutimi because I could not find supplies that were good enough for my clients. I wanted products I could trust on my own work, so I made them.
Every product in our store is one I use on my own clients first. Beutimi is not a big, faceless brand. It is an artist's line, made for artists who care about retention, comfort and craft.
The story of a name
The name Badmaa is Tibetan in origin. My full nickname, Badamlyanhua Usan Mandal, means "lotus flower."
The lotus is a symbol of purity, because it grows up out of the mud and still blooms clean. Every evening it closes and goes back under the water, and every morning it opens again. To me, it stands for strength, resilience and new beginnings. I see people the same way: we all have the power to rise out of a dark place and bloom.
This means a lot to me, because I have lived through depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Going through them taught me that I was not alone. It also showed me that the beauty industry, for all its glamour, does not always take care of the people inside it.
Beutimi exists to change that. We are a community of artists who lift each other up, share what we know, and grow together.
